4. Privacy & data
The site is built around data minimisation: the core of freeapps.vn only collects what the tools need to work, nothing more. Here's what happens DIRECTLY on our infrastructure:
- No sign-up required, no personal profile created, and no first-party tracking cookies to follow your behaviour across visits.
- Short-lived technical logs (IP, user-agent, request path, timestamp) are used only for abuse prevention, debugging, and performance tuning. They are rotated and automatically deleted after a short retention window.
- Content you type into a tool (tax IDs, QR payload, uploaded images…) is processed transiently to return a result. Not stored long-term, not used to train AI, not sold to anyone.
- Some tools need to call external services to complete a task — for example fetching results from a search engine, calling a public API, or processing images through an AI provider. When that happens, your input travels through the third party's infrastructure under their own policy. I pick providers with clear privacy commitments and only send what's necessary for the tool to return a result.
And here's the honest bit about advertising: as section 3 explains, when ads are shown, ad networks (AdSense and similar) will process technical data under their own policies. That part sits outside my direct control — I only pick where ads appear and which categories are allowed.
I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data that you provide directly to the site — for a simple reason: I hardly have any personal data of yours in the first place.
Your rights: ask me to stop processing any data you sent, ask for logs tied to your IP to be deleted, or ask any question about how data is handled. Email the address in the Contact section. If you're in the EU/EEA/UK and believe I've breached the GDPR, you have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.
Contact form data
When you submit the Contact form, we store: name (as you provide), email, subject, message body, IP, user-agent, and timestamp. Sole purpose: replying to you and filtering spam.
Messages are stored in freeapps.vn's database (Vietnam-hosted). Not shared with third parties. Auto-deleted 12 months after the conversation closes. You can request earlier deletion — an email is enough.
Third-party advertising & cookies (Google AdSense)
freeapps.vn uses Google AdSense to display ads. This disclosure is required by Google policy + GDPR + Vietnam's Decree 13/2023.
As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on this site. The DoubleClick cookie enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to freeapps.vn and other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's “Ads Settings” at adssettings.google.com/anonymous. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies via aboutads.info.
Users in the EU/EEA/UK will see a cookie consent banner (Consent Mode) before personalized ads appear. You can refuse — the site keeps working normally; ads will just be less relevant.
We do NOT directly control the data Google collects via advertising cookies. That processing follows Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Ads & how this site stays alive
Let's be upfront: freeapps.vn runs ads, and this is not a non-profit project. Servers, domain, certificates, bandwidth — they all come with invoices. Ads are how I keep the site free for you, without a Pro tier, email-gating, or a donation widget nagging you to “buy me a coffee”. A fair way to look at it: you see a banner, I can pay for hosting, the tools stay free. Fair trade.
I currently use (or may use) third-party ad networks — most likely Google AdSense. When ads are displayed, those networks may set cookies in your browser and collect some technical data (IP address, user-agent, pages viewed, ad interactions) to choose relevant ads and measure performance. That's tracking — I won't pretend it isn't.
That data is processed by the third party under their own policy, not mine. To understand exactly what Google does with it, see policies.google.com/privacy, and manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. If you're in the EU/EEA/UK you'll see a cookie-consent banner (GDPR) — you can refuse personalised tracking and keep using the site normally; ads will just be less relevant.
What I will NOT do: sell your data directly to third parties, intentionally place ads that mimic real buttons, use full-screen pop-ups, or auto-play video with sound. If an ad feels sketchy (malware, gambling, scams…), let me know — I'll block it.
If you use an ad-blocker, I'm not going to show you a pop-up asking you to turn it off. The tools just work. You have the choice — I only hope you understand why the ads are there.
7. Changes to these terms
The internet changes, laws change, the product changes — this page will change with them. I may update this at any time; new versions take effect as soon as they're published. The last-updated date at the top makes it easy to tell. Continuing to use the site after an update counts as accepting the new version. For anything major around personal data, I'll try to give you a clearer heads-up — for instance, a banner on the landing page.
8. Contact
Questions, feedback, takedown request, bug report, or a quick “hey, thanks for building this”? Email me at dev.ftechltd@gmail.com .
I read every message, though I don't always reply quickly (especially on weekends — weekends are for coffee). If you're writing on behalf of a legal or government body, please mark the subject line clearly so I don't miss it.
