1. About this project
freeapps.vn is a set of small web tools you can open and use right away — no sign-up, no app to install, no “free trial that auto-renews”. The project started from a very ordinary frustration: every time I needed a quick tool, I'd end up in a jungle of flashing banners, email-gated features, and fake “Download” buttons sitting next to the real one. I just wanted a place that felt less annoying.
It's run by one (or a few) individuals in their spare time. No 50-person team, no funding round, no IPO roadmap. But there are servers, there's a domain, there are electric bills — so to keep the site free, I do run ads (details in section 3). All core features stay free forever: no Pro tier, no paywall, no “upgrade to unlock”.
Many tools here are built, improved, or assembled with help from AI models. That lets me ship new tools faster, but it also means results sometimes sound worryingly confident while being completely wrong. Treat any output from this site as a starting point — not a final answer, and definitely not professional advice.
2. Disclaimer
This section is a bit long and a bit dry, but it matters. The tools on freeapps.vn are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without any warranty or guarantee — express or implied — regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of any result from any tool — including but not limited to: tax-ID lookup, traffic-fine lookup, QR generation, image processing, format conversion, or any future utility.
- Continuous, error-free, uninterrupted operation or freedom from malicious code. I try hard, but servers still go down in the middle of the night, third-party APIs change format without warning, and Cloudflare occasionally has a bad day too. There is no SLA here.
- Fitness for any particular purpose — especially legal, financial, medical, accounting, tax, or anything requiring licensed expertise. If your decision could lead to fines, job loss, or a courtroom, please ask an actual qualified person — not a free website on the internet.
More on AI: some features are generated by AI models or aggregated from public sources. Data can be stale, drifted from its origin, or frankly… made up. Modern AI is very good at sounding right while being wrong. Before any important decision, you MUST cross-check against an authoritative source (a government agency, the original issuer, a qualified professional). Not joking here.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, freeapps.vn and its contributors are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the tools and content on this site. That includes cases where you told me damage was possible and I didn't fix it in time.
By continuing to use freeapps.vn, you acknowledge these limits and agree that final decisions — and their consequences — are yours. I provide the tools; I don't sign your tax return for you.
3. Ads & how this site stays alive
Let's be upfront: freeapps.vn runs ads, and this is not a non-profit project. Servers, domain, certificates, bandwidth — they all come with invoices. Ads are how I keep the site free for you, without a Pro tier, email-gating, or a donation widget nagging you to “buy me a coffee”. A fair way to look at it: you see a banner, I can pay for hosting, the tools stay free. Fair trade.
I currently use (or may use) third-party ad networks — most likely Google AdSense. When ads are displayed, those networks may set cookies in your browser and collect some technical data (IP address, user-agent, pages viewed, ad interactions) to choose relevant ads and measure performance. That's tracking — I won't pretend it isn't.
That data is processed by the third party under their own policy, not mine. To understand exactly what Google does with it, see policies.google.com/privacy, and manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. If you're in the EU/EEA/UK you'll see a cookie-consent banner (GDPR) — you can refuse personalised tracking and keep using the site normally; ads will just be less relevant.
What I will NOT do: sell your data directly to third parties, intentionally place ads that mimic real buttons, use full-screen pop-ups, or auto-play video with sound. If an ad feels sketchy (malware, gambling, scams…), let me know — I'll block it.
If you use an ad-blocker, I'm not going to show you a pop-up asking you to turn it off. The tools just work. You have the choice — I only hope you understand why the ads are there.
4. Privacy & data
The site is built around data minimisation: the core of freeapps.vn only collects what the tools need to work, nothing more. Here's what happens DIRECTLY on our infrastructure:
- No sign-up required, no personal profile created, and no first-party tracking cookies to follow your behaviour across visits.
- Short-lived technical logs (IP, user-agent, request path, timestamp) are used only for abuse prevention, debugging, and performance tuning. They are rotated and automatically deleted after a short retention window.
- Content you type into a tool (tax IDs, QR payload, uploaded images…) is processed transiently to return a result. Not stored long-term, not used to train AI, not sold to anyone.
- Some lookup tools need to call public third-party services (government APIs, ESGOO, VietQR, Cloudflare CDN…). When they do, your query travels through that third party's infrastructure under their own policy. The README of each tool lists the third parties it relies on.
And here's the honest bit about advertising: as section 3 explains, when ads are shown, ad networks (AdSense and similar) will process technical data under their own policies. That part sits outside my direct control — I only pick where ads appear and which categories are allowed.
I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data that you provide directly to the site — for a simple reason: I hardly have any personal data of yours in the first place.
Your rights: ask me to stop processing any data you sent, ask for logs tied to your IP to be deleted, or ask any question about how data is handled. Email the address in the Contact section. If you're in the EU/EEA/UK and believe I've breached the GDPR, you have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.
5. Terms of use
Using the site = agreeing to these. Most of it is common sense, but law wants it written down.
- Don't use the tools for anything that violates the laws of Vietnam or the jurisdiction you're accessing from. (Yes, that line sounds copy-pasted. It is. It's also true.)
- Don't attack the site, probe for vulnerabilities, spam, mass-scrape, or send abnormal traffic that would overload the infrastructure. If you're a security researcher who found a bug, please email me — I'd much rather have you reporting a bug than exploiting it.
- Don't impersonate any person or organisation through tool input, and don't use the tools to harass, defraud, generate misleading content, distribute malware, or produce unlawful content.
- You're responsible for whatever you upload or input — you must have the right to process it. Uploading someone else's photo without permission, generating a QR with a scam link, submitting copyrighted text… that's between you and the law, not me.
- I may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access in response to abuse, without prior notice. Rate limits are applied equally to everyone to keep things fair — if you think you've been blocked by mistake, email me.
- Ads are served by third-party networks and can link to external sites. I don't control the landing pages of advertisers. Clicking an ad = you're stepping onto another site with its own terms. A little caution is your friend.
6. Intellectual property
The name “freeapps.vn”, the logo, the UI, and the source of the site belong to the team that builds it. You're welcome to share links, take screenshots, and recommend the site for personal/non-commercial use. Want to use the logo in an article, review video, or academic material? Go ahead — just credit the source; no permission needed.
Any third-party trademarks or tool names appearing on the site (government agency names, upstream API providers…) belong to their respective owners. They're mentioned only to describe functionality and imply no affiliation or endorsement.
7. Changes to these terms
The internet changes, laws change, the product changes — this page will change with them. I may update this at any time; new versions take effect as soon as they're published. The last-updated date at the top makes it easy to tell. Continuing to use the site after an update counts as accepting the new version. For anything major around personal data, I'll try to give you a clearer heads-up — for instance, a banner on the landing page.
8. Contact
Questions, feedback, takedown request, bug report, or a quick “hey, thanks for building this”? Email me at dev.ftechltd@gmail.com .
I read every message, though I don't always reply quickly (especially on weekends — weekends are for coffee). If you're writing on behalf of a legal or government body, please mark the subject line clearly so I don't miss it.
